I primarily use these for water bowls. Occasionally I will use them to temporarily house/display baby snakes at reptile shows. We have also used these for a variety of art/craft projects too. I bought a 1/8 inch hole punch to simply punch holes in the bowls myself if I need to use them for animals. Otherwise, I like them better without the holes when using them as snake water bowls.
